Qualifying Your Door For Decorative Doorglass Installation
Most exterior doors are manufactured with Steel, Fiberglass or Wood. Steel and Fiberglass doors are perfect candidates for a Door Transformation. Many of our dealers have the necessary tools and training needed to transform exterior wood doors. Slight modifications to either the doorglass or the door itself may be required to perform this type of door makeover.

STEP 1
Identify your door from the images shown below. Should your door not fall into one of these standard designs, there is still an option for transformation. Write or sketch a brief description of your door for your local dealer.
STEP 2
Open your door and measure the actual door width and height. Front entry doors should measure 30” in width or greater. Side and rear doors can range from 24” to 36”. The height of your entryway door can vary up to 96” and possibly greater.
STEP 3
Measure the thickness of your door. Standard exterior doors measure 1-3/4” thick.
STEP 4
Now measure the panels in the center of the door for overall width and height. The panels in your door may, or may not, look exactly like those shown in the image you chose in Step 1. If the panel measures approximately 23” width x 65” height, your door is a perfect candidate for an installation using standard doorglass. If your panel measurements exceed those dimensions, ask about the specialty patterns we have available for those sizes at your nearest location.
Almost every exterior door can be transformed. We recommend you take the information collected in the steps above along width a digital photo of your door, to your closest Door Transformation dealer for further assistance.
